Home / Services / Site feasibility

What can you build on your site?

Before you buy, knock down or commit to design fees, find out what your site will really support: a new home, a renovation, a duplex or more. We look at the planning controls, the light, the slope and the numbers, then tell you plainly what is possible.

What we look at

Planning controls and the likely approval pathway (DA or CDC). Orientation, light, views and privacy. Slope, access and services. What comparable sites have achieved, and what that means for yield and value.

The questions it answers

Can we build a duplex here? Is a knockdown rebuild better value than renovating? What will council allow? What would the possible options roughly cost to build?

What you get

A clear, written assessment of what the site can support, the realistic options, and the decisions that matter before you commit to design fees or a purchase.

What can I build on my site?

It depends on the zone, the lot size and frontage, and the slope. That is exactly what the assessment works out, before anything is drawn.

Can I build a duplex on my block?

Often it is possible. It depends on the zoning, the frontage and area, any overlays and the controls of your council. We check what applies to your site before any design begins.
